What is the Difference Between Counter & Bar Stools?

Unfortunately advertisers use the bar stool as a general description, rather than specifying a bar or kitchen counter stool. Not very helpful. Kitchen Counter Stools
When choosing a stool, the key is to know the height of the table (or counter) you want to sit a stool under. Standard kitchen counters stool are approximately 90cm high and will fit an optimum size of around 66cm high stool, floor to seat. This allows enough room for your legs to fit comfortable underneath.

Your commercial bar (home bar) or bar table, is around 105 to 120cm high and will suit a 76cm high stool, measuring from floor to seat.
