MAINTENANCE OF ADELE TABLE TOPS

Following a few easy steps will help keep your table top in the best possible condition. Our recommendations are as follows:

DAILY CLEANING
For everyday, routine cleaning of these Adele stone tops we recommend wiping the surface with warm soapy water (a mild detergent) and a soft, clean, damp cloth or sponge, or use a stone spray cleaner. Do not use the same cloth to wash the dishes. It may transfer oils and other contaminants to the surface. Dry thoroughly after cleaning with a clean cloth to prevent water spots.

STAINS
**All Spills should be wiped up immediately to avoid water mark staining.**
We highly recommend use of cork mats, coasters or place mats and to wipe your table immediately if you notice a spill.
Stone table tops are naturally subject to chipping, particularly the edges when tables are moved or pushed together. If you regularly change your seating or are looking to move these tables outside during the day, please opt for a different top such as the Chairforce Ciro Table Top Range, available in black or white marble.

PREVENTING DAMAGE
• DO NOT apply bleach, windex, gumption, jif or vinegar.
• DO NOT ALLOW ANY LIQUID TO STAND ON THIS STONE TOP.
Marble is highly porous, which means it is very susceptible to staining and water marks. Any liquid spills should be wiped up immdiately to avoid staining.
• Needless to say, to avoid scratching and potential cracks/chips from over vigorous staff piling up chairs on your table, please do not stack chairs on your table tops. Stackable chairs are an ideal option.
• Always wipe up spills quickly to avoid staining.
• Because heat can discolour stone, we do not advise placing hot items straight onto this table top. Once discoloured it can be very hard to fix and may require resurfacing. Use of a cork mat should suffice.
• Use felt pads on the bottom of objects that will remain on the table top for long periods. This is especially important with natural stone materials or items that contain moisture; residual moisture can transfer to the concrete and cause discolouration
