High pressed compact laminate table tops are a hard wearing and economical option ideally suited for cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs. They are a superior choice to melamine or polyurethane coated tops, and will not peel. The compact laminate’s hygienic properties and jointless surface are a perfect fit for hospitality furniture and will stand up well to scratches and stains.

Assembly
Diego tops are suitable for assembly ONLY to the following Chairforce bases (Diego is supplied with pre drilled guide holes for easy attachment):
• Adan bar and table base,
• Carlos bar and table base,
• Fernando bar and table base,
• Lorenzo bar and table base (NOT double table base),
• Maximo bar and table base,
• Rocco bar and table base (NOT set of 2 legs),
• Tomas bar and table base.

Pre drilled guide holes will not fit the following Chairforce bases:
Manuel, Lorenzo double base, set of 2 Rocco table legs, set of 2 Felipe legs, set of 2 Marco legs, Arlo legs, set of 2 Cesar legs, set of 2 Saltire legs, Hairpin legs, Tolix table frames.

NOTE: Due to the thin thickness of these Diego table tops extreme care should be taken when assembling onto a table base. Do not overtighten.
Always double check the length of your screw compared to the thickness of the table top before you start assembly.

MAINTENANCE OF DIEGO TABLE TOPS
Following a few easy steps will help keep your table top in the best possible condition. Our recommendations are as follows:
DAILY CLEANING
Quick and simple to maintain, Diego table tops can be cleaned easily with a mild non-abrasive detergent before wiping over with a clean wet cloth. Wipe dry using a clean soft cloth so as not to leave any cleaning solutions on the surface.
STAINS
Compact laminate is resistant to everyday wear and tear but needs some attention for harsh conditions and staining. You may use Methylated Spirit on a soft cloth, us- ing a circular cleaning motion. Thoroughly clean over the wider area with water and detergent on a damp cloth afterwards to remove any residual Methylated Spirit. Any chemicals should be thoroughly wiped with a clean damp cloth, so that they don’t keep working on the panels.
PREVENTING DAMAGE
• Catch the stains before they set in. No matter what cleaning method you use, the only way to ensure your table top stays stain free and clean is to regularly clean them. To add to the longevity of your table top, ask your staff to regularly wipe food and spills off the table surface before they set in.
• Cleaning products containing organic solvents such as ammonia, bleach, acetone, turpentine, etc. should be avoided; as well as abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and abrasive papers. Avoid moving abrasive objects on the tabletop surface and also placing hot pots directly on it.
• As with all furniture, do not leave table tops in direct sun for long periods. Dark surfaces heat up quickly – hot surfaces can also burn your customers and damage your table top.
• We recommend you do not place chairs, feet first on any table top. This can cause unnecessary wear and tear on your table top and if the chairs are dragged off the table top can cause additional scratches and distress to the surface. For better return on your investment and longevity of your table, invest in stacking chairs and store at the side of your room, rather than on top of your table.
• A dish right out of the oven or a pot right off the stove should not be placed on your Ricardo table without heat protection. Please protect your table top with a heat resistant mat – a cork mat is ideal.
